Math- This week will be working on multiplication facts. I have included their everyday math login card in their folder.  This week’s game is Multiplication Baseball.

 Reading- We are reading a story called “The Baker’s Neighbor”.  We will be working on vocabulary and comprehension.  We will also learn about to cause and effect. We will be having a reading test on Friday.

 Writing- We will be learning about capitalization and punctuation in sentences.

 Spelling- Spelling Words are sent home on Monday after the pre-test, based on the pre-test I will identify the number of spelling words they will have for the week.  Monday we have a pre-test, Thursday is a practice day on Spelling City, and Friday is our test. Please help your child practice their spelling words ask them their spelling words when in the car. Extra Credit will be given for writing spelling words at home.

www.spellingcity.com is a great way to practice spelling words if you have internet.

 Reading Homework will go home Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in their clear reading folder with the reading log.

 October 1^st- Home Football Game 50 cent tattoos. One dollar smelly pencils and bookmarks.

 October 6^th-Dental Education Day

 October 15^th- Home Football Game 50 cent tattoos and End of 1^st quarter.

 Classroom Need:  Allergy Season has hit us hard already we need tissues if possible.
