Hello and welcome to my web site about me.

I have the honor of educating children in the Neosho R-V school district in Neosho, MO.  I will start my 4th year of teaching in Neosho.

I  attended Hickory Grove Grade School, Old Mission Junior High School and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School all in the Shawnee Mission School District in Johnson County, Kansas.  I attended and graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor in Science.

My experience with children started in high school were I worked after school and summers at a day care center.  I started my official teaching in the inner city of Kansas City, Kansas.  I taught there for 2 years before moving to Manhattan, Kansas.  In Manhattan I spent 2 years teaching third grade before moving to Winona, Minnesota.  I taught 1 year in Minnesota before becoming and full time mom.  Three children and fifteen years later I started teaching again in Neosho.

I stay very busy with my 3 children and husband.  My husband teaches here also.  He teaches in the social studies department and summer driver's education.  Our oldest son attends Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa and is a Junior studying sports information.  He plays on the football and baseball team. (GO YELLOW JACKETS).  Our daughter is a senior here at NHS.  She is a varsity cheerleader, National Honor Society member, student council  secretary, and a 3 year letterwoman for the girls' soccer team.  She is planning on attend the U of A next year.  Our youngest child is in the sixth grade at NMS.  He loves to play baseball.  He enjoys soccer and basketball, but not as much as baseball.
