I started teaching at Southwest Alternative Education Center in August 2000.  I also teach at MSSU's Upward Bound program each summer (since 2000), and I have served as a chaperone for Upward Bound for three summers on trips to Houston, Texas, Denver, Colorado, and Boston, Massachusetts.

I was married in October 2005.  We had a Renaissance/Medieval theme, and it was a fun day for everyone.  Many people have told me it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding.  I feel truly blessed to have met my soul mate!

I enjoy reading, movies, music, and spending time with friends and family.  I love my regular and summer job so much that I refused to give either one up to work on my Master's degree.  Therefore, I pursued my Master's degree through a distance learning program at Walden University.  If you would like more information about Walden University, visit their Web site at www.waldenu.edu or find more information about the program for teachers at the Canter Web site at www.degrees4teachers.net via the Internet.

If you need to contact me, please feel free to e-mail me at williamsbethia@neosho.k12.mo.us at any time.  Currently, I can only receive these messages when I am at school, so if you are attempting to contact me during a break, please leave a message for me with my school's administrative assistant at 417-451-8616.  Thank you!
